The Angela Fleischman lab at UC Irvine is dedicated to understanding the pathogenesis of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN or MPD) which includes polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, myelofibrosis). Our focus is on the role of inflammation in MPN.
SABRINA MIR
Sabrina received her BS in Biochemistry at the University of Southern California. Before starting medical school at UCI, she worked on Phase I Cancer Clinical Trials at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. In the Fleischman lab, Sabrina focuses on site directed mutagenesis to mimic novel MPN mutations.
